Message from the President
Founded in April 2010, AALIMS reached a milestone at its third anniversary. As a sign of becoming an established organization, we have experienced our first “change of the guard.”

All sessions are free and open to the public.
This workshop provides a forum for graduate students writing dissertations on Islam or the Muslim world. It features selected students who will present work in progress to an audience consisting of both faculty and graduate students. The event will also provide opportunities for graduate students in the field to meet one another as well as established scholars. AALIMS will continue to organize graduate student workshops periodically at various locations.
