The Croft Institute for International Studies at the U. of Mississippi seeks Executive Director

04/17/2016

The Croft Institute for International Studies at the University of Mississippi invites applications for the position of Executive Director.

Established in 1997, the Croft Institute offers a selective-admission academic program, small classes and first-rate facilities. The Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies combines the study of global economics, history, politics and social relations with the intensive study of languages and cultures in a multidisciplinary curriculum. Students must specialize in one of three thematic areas and one of four world regions. They are required to study abroad and write an original thesis for graduation.

The appointment will begin in August of 2016. Follow the on-line application procedure online and attach a cover letter, which addresses your executive experience and your view of the discipline of international studies within a university curriculum; a CV; and a list of references. Inquiries may be directed to Professor Donald Dyer, chair of the search committee, at [mldyer@olemiss.edu]. Applications will be received until an adequate pool of candidates has been established or until the position is filled. The University of Mississippi is an EEO/AA/Title VI/Title X/Section 504/ADA/ADEA employer. More information here.
