Saad Gulzar is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Political Science at New York University. He works on issues relating to the political economy of development, the role of technology in development, and political behavior. He studies these in the context of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and India, using field experiments and observational data. Before starting graduate school, he was an economist at the International Growth Center – Pakistan.
