Jamal Ibrahim Haidar is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for International Development, Harvard University. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Paris School of Economics, University of Paris-1 Pantheon Sorbonne, a M.A. degree in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University, and a M.Sc. degree in international finance from Cass Business School, City University London. Previously, he worked at the World Bank, International Finance Corporation, International Monetary Fund, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, Institute of International Finance, and Deloitte. His fields of specialization are international economics, development economics, and political economy.
